Our intensive level of pre Albania training (0 kms cycled) stepped up a gear when we arrived in Poole Dorset to the home of fellow adventurers and good friends Kev (referred to as Pommie Kev or "PK") and Julia.
Feeling that some cultural acclimitisation was essential PK took us off to nearby Southampton to interact with some warring English tribes in a form of ritual bonding . The choice of weapons was a round ball while the "warring" was referred to as football ! The atmosphere (read non stop chanting) was chilling with calls to action (read insults) including "What the fu.king hell was that (used to describes shots that missed) to "You live in a shithole" to "You've never won fu.king anything" referring to the local tribes absence of trophies / severed heads or something like that ! For the record Wolves 2 Southampton 0 and a great night was had by all !

Invigorated by our linguistic exercise (.. well all except Aussie Kev "AK" who is still struggling with a Royal Brunei induced cold) we also took to the road (again 0 kms cycled) to walk to nearby Poole Beach shivering ourselves as we watched a few brave people venture into the ice cold water.
Exhausted after our 3-4 km walk we took to one our favourite English past times replenishing vital lost bodily fluids

Albania is now only 1 day away and with such well planned preparation and K's current health status, it is likely that our expected peletonic dominance will be short lived that is if we have any energy to get on the bikes at all ! Roll on Albania !

Could be where Aussies get their football lingo from, sounds similar! Careful Mike you are starting to sound like Dennis "peletonic dominace"
